The origin of riversurfing the famous Eisbach-Wave in Munich that you also feature here is in danger! There are plans to destroy it and currently a online-petition has been set up, where you can sign and vote for the prevention of the Eisbach-Wave and riversurfing in Munich. The site has also information about the why and hows etc. Because of its international fame (Gerry Lopez has surfed it, Kelly Slater has spoken about it) and as Munich wants to host Olympic Winter Games 2012 international voices would be a further thrust to our Munich surfer initiative.
