| The best session ever was my first winter on the north shore, the trade winds had been howling all week so the swell was all mashed up and blown out. I woke up early on the last day of the swell, which was a nice 6-8' N/NW at 14 seconds. I rode my bike to V-land and as allways packed like mad, checked backyards and it was dumping. Went down the road a bit and say Sunset Pealing across the reef with no more than 10 guys out, this never happens at good sunset. I rode my bike the blcok home grabbed my 6'10" Pyzel Pintail, went back when i got there some guys had just got caught by a set so three or four were heading in, lowering the count in the water. I prepped my self and then charged out the water was like glass the wind was dead and the waves were peeling i traded perfect sunset with 6 other guys for about an hour. it got crowed as the day went on and the wind picked up but for the first hour i was in heaven i will never forget that session, i can honestly say i remember every wave of that day. | |
| Worst Wipe out was for sure a 4' hawaiian day at Velzy land, nothing to big nothing to powerful but shallow as hell over sharp as reef. I missed the drop went over the falls got carried over the reef cut up to shreds caught a fin in the leg, and worst of all broke my board. spent the next week nursing cuts. | |
