| my best time out was deffinatly this summer at stone harbor 110. i went out on a real hot day in july with two friends, and the waves were probably only about shoulder high, and the line up was pretty crowded with shoobies and dicks. we were in our own little bubble, and were catching a few waves and just having a raw time beating up little kids that would paddle too close or hit us when we caught a wave. despite bruising up my wrist pretty good and having a close encounter with a pair of stingrays, i cant think of a more fun time i've ever spent in the surf. | |
| deffinatly my worst wipe out came at sea isle, 37th street when i bought my new short board a few summers back. i caught a wave, and when i went to stand up i was too close to the nose and my board shot up from under me and i went under. when i got stood back up, my board came back down and my fin cut a 3 inch long gash into my forehead. i didnt notice i was even hurt until i felt my head and looked down at my hand and saw all the blood. my dad took me to the er and i got a few stitches. good times! | |
