| Best gonna have to be a Pitas session where I got this perfect standing three or four second barrel. Just got completely pitted at the three fat palm trees. Stalled deep. Light lit it up all green and everything. Entire session was crazy. It was like double to triple overhead at Kira and just firing all the way thru. Cleanups hurt but my final wave I took from blue house (green now ironically lol) all the way to the double American flag house. Probably my longest ride. Measured it from the road at like .6 miles long. Maybe some night session rides at First Point last summer came close in length, but not in like heaviness and fun. And of course the session was after camping out, going on a mission to find iHop, having a lil bonfire with some bros, and tokin our brains out.
Another one, San Clem State Beach late last summer. This one swell, not even THAT big, lit it up perfect. Overhead+ hollow A-frames connecting all the way thru to the inside. Insanely hollow sucky barrel sections mixed with occasional really snap-able ones. Crowd was pretty light with no wind and a pretty stoked vibe. Could see Barbed Wire down south workin pretty well but couldn't have been this good. Super consistent. Just got lucky with the bars. Caught Zuma on Thanksgiving 06 almost this good. The A-frames made me two hours late to family dinner. Shout out to Big Wednesday 05 and Mothers Day 06 Westwards as well. Firing lefts both days. Hard wipeouts cuz of closeouts but barrels made it worth it. Snapped a board on Big Wed. Also had a couple magic Topanga sessions. Boomers firing 05-06 winter dawn patrols and some crazy glass off sessions over on the main point. Connected from the outside main peak all the way to the beach - that's the measure of a good session. |

| Two wave hold down at Sea Bluff. Double to triple overhead choppy storm surf. Completely undergunned on a thruster fish. Hit a chop section in the middle of the wave. Ate it and got moped up by the whitewash. Ended up in some fluke of disturbance under the water. Second wave washed me out and made it up.
Some gnarly wipeouts at Zuma/Westies/PDS and San Clem State Beach just hard into the sand. Neck break much? But the barrels make it worth it. |

| Replaced my JS a while back. More drive and faster board all around, with good top to bottom flow. Rail setup smooth the sharp in the back gives it decent rail to rail. | |

| My bigger wave board. Picked it initially for big hollow point breaks. Slots in the barrel better than any other board I own. Useable from chest-high and up, but really shines with like headhigh+ barrels. Doesn't get squirly up to triple overhead. | |

| My solid go-to board. Sinkier to paddle than my other boards but nothing gets where its needed faster than this board. Crazy for top to bottom surfing. Doesn't really get too squirly until more than DOH, but also not a flow board. Nose snapped off, so really its more like 5'11 with solares. It's taken a beating over the past few years. | |

| This board is all about speed. Flows like a fish but still gives the maneuverability of a thruster. Extremely fast, but not great for snaps. Pressure dings too easy. |
