| WELL NOW! ITS BEEN A WHILE...BUT I DID REPRESENT WALES IN THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS BACK IN 1982-3 SO LONG AGO I CANT REALLY REMEMBER, I WAS ABOUT 18 YRS OLD! WAS GREAT EXPERIENCE, NO MORE COMPETING NOW ITS JUST FOR FUN & TOO SLOWLY REGAINING CONFIDENCE AFTER A NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE IN LA PENNON, FRANCE ...HEAVY WIPEOUT HELD ME UPSIDE DOWN UNTIL I HAD NO AIR LEFT IN THOSE LUNGS MAN...I DIED FOR A MINUTE & VISITED A REALLY PEACEFUL PLACE (NOT ON GOOGLE EARTH)... BUT THE IMPACT OF THE SECOND WAVE WAS ENOUGH TO POUND THE LIVING DAYLIGHT BACK INTO ME...COUGH, SPLITTER, SICK, BREATHE IN, BREATH OUT ...WHAT A JOURNEY!! IM STILL SHAKING!! |
