| Woolacombe bay winter 2006. One of about 5 people in the sea was about 3 to 4 feet clean. sun had literally just gone down, there was an offshore wind and the waves were breaking closer then normal to the sure, the sunset lighting impressed a sense of calm to the bay to the point where the ocean seemed to surrender its power to the mode, but when im sitting at the back line i can still hear the waves breaking and i get the lip spray blowing into my face massaging my cheeks. I know i can ctach anywave i want and i catch waves that take me for long long rides, im progressing my abilities alot on this session, no crowds and lots of perfect waves, surfing just beyond the break its so calm when im hanging on to the side of the wave literally cuddling it as i carve a deep bottom turn then top it off so i can paddle back to where is started, i really leant alot that day. Paddling back into the great atlantic it just seems to be myself in the sea. | |

| I dont think i have the experience to compete and even if i did i would compete its really something i do for myself i dont see the need to be better then anyone else at surfing. Ive surfed alot i love it, i havent embraced the lifestyle of a typical surfer but i can surf well |
