My Best Ever Session:	The weather was great, sunshine, good temperature and the water was a bit cold. I was out with the local surf school, but the people on the team were all beginners, so the surf instructor asked me to paddle out to another surf instructor who was out the back. Well I got out there and got a few waves, the take off was quite steep and the waves were fast and hollow that day. A set rolled in, and we let the first wave pass and then on the second wave (it was quite big for my liking)he told me to start paddling, I wasn't really that committed to catching the wave so just as it started to rear up on me he pushed me, and I had the most wonderful ride of my life. It was this big clear barrel, and it just kept going after a short while my shoulder hit the lip and I got thrown off, but that is one rider I will never forget!
Biggest Fear or Wipe out:	This was while I was still learning! I had gained some confidence over the last couple of waves so I had paddled out to where the bigger waves were. I caught a couple, but then the set came and I didn't make it all the way over the lip, so just as I reached the top, it broke, and I got held down for what felt like ages, when I got up I was gasping for air. But unfortunately another big wave broke right on top of me and I got held under again. But this time when I got up, I grabbed my board and paddled outwards as fast as I could, I paddled way beyond the line-up to prevent myself from getting dumped again. But I could see my mother on the beach making all the signals, trying to get me to come to the beach, but because I was so terrified of getting dumped I just stayed, I didn't want to get in the "danger zone" so I tried to get the life guards, but of course they didn't come to get me, so this friendly surfer helped me get in.
