Expat Kirra (Gold Coast) OZ local. Member of both Kirra & Snapper Rocks clubs back in the mid 60's. Lived in New Zealand with Nigel Dwyer (Dell Surfboards) in the late 60's and was a judge at the World Championships held in Gisborne. Then off to Maui in the Islands for a while in the early 70's now living in Surf City USA (Huntington Beach) CA. (Gave up surfing for a decade ... couple of ex-wives ... 24 year old daughter just graduated from California State University Long Beach.) Now surfing the dawn patrol pretty much every day using a super light, hard railed, flat bottom 2+1 9'0" or a hot new 7'2" Mark Richards based "Super Fish" shaped by Jean-Luc Roberts (young NSSA champion out of Redondo Beach) for the jucy stuff plus a 9'4" single 6" fin noserider for slip-sliding fun!
