My Best Ever Session:
See Biggest Wave Above. I was in San Diego at Blacks for the 1st Wednesday in January of 2006 (1/4/06), and rode the biggest waves of my life! It was INCREDIBLE!!!!!
Biggest Fear or Wipe out:
Dropped in on a 12-14' face at PB Point and had to bail to keep from hitting someone else. The wave ripped my leash off of my leg, and took it almost to the beach. I'm old and out of shap and thought I would drown on the swim in to retrieve the board. Thank God for the father and son that saved my new board from the rocks and paddled it out to me as I swam in.
Favourite Surfers:
Wingnut Weaver, Joel Tudor, Colin McPhillips, Bongo Perkins, Mark Martinson and of course, Robert August.
