Surf Experience: Experienced (10-19 yrs)
Surf Level: All Conditions Surfer
Surf Frequency: Only when I'm on vacation
Local Spots: we do a lot of tow-surfing and wakeboarding over here behind the motorboat....i call it methadone therapy-probably the best u can get when you are landlocked in germany....# ( other things include downhill skateboarding [www.lanyachtz.com] or snowboarding [www.pogo.biz: chekc out their powderguns and longboads: they are a blast])
usually travel to the canaries...france...or other places like australia or asia...during the year i spend 5-6 weeks per year on surftrips.
Favourites Spots: i like fuerte a lot-especially when it gets big on the reefs in winter...and i love france for its longboard waves...
My Biggest Wave: Double Overhead
Prefered Wave Size: Head-High
Favourite Type of Spot: Right Pointbreak; Right Reef; Big Wave in Deep Sea; Left Pointbreak; Left Reef
Prefered Tricks: Wipe out
Bodyboard Tricks: Drop knee
My Best Ever Session: cabaritos in qld/oz-didnt score much with a 9´8´´ board in big and hollow surf, but the dolphis were amazing!
Biggest Fear or Wipe out: hittting the reef in fuerte, getting cut....
my biggest cut ever has a full fcs fin in my stomach...took me out for 10 weeks-fortunately only muscles cut-happend 2003-so i consider nov 23rd my birthday now ;-)
Favourite Surfers: tom wegener
robert weaver
rob machado
My Local Surf Club: -
Surf Club Website: -
Most Recent Contest: i usually do one paddleboard event per year-more for fun to meet other surfers...its in august in frankfurt on river main-1 nautic mile mor of a sprint

Shape: Longboard
Fins: 3- Thrusther

Condition: Well Used
Make and Technology: polyester-heavy glassing-very stable
Tail: rounded pin
Bottom: Flat
Type of Fins: usbox center, fcs sidebites
Rails, Specifics: boxy rails, sharp at the tail
My Opinion About: its a fine board, shoiws its versatility in big surf-for small surf a little heavy and lacks volume in the nose

2008-10-07: i passed this baord on to a pal of mine who loves it...i primarily use my wegener and my buster malibu now....

doh generosa fuerte-last longboarder out-fun rides with applause from the bodyboarders

Tail: pintail
Bottom: Flat
Type of Fins: tomahawk
Rails, Specifics: very special rails for the model a: 60/40 and up at the tail!
rides like a magic carpet
Id Number: 137 for stephan
Year Made: 2007
Year Bought: 2006
My Opinion About: this board is a dream!
it is expensive, but it is worth while its cost and the waiting time!
Session Memories: france-head high to oh surf-very surprised how well the board rides in bigger waves: it is sold as a small wave longbaord

Board 4
Shape: Fish Style
Fins: 4- Quattro
Size x Width x Thickness: 6´2´´3" thick, 22" wide, 16" nose and tail
Condition: Well Used
Make and Technology: 9fish surfboard-a really cool quad fish-see their hp for movies and photos: its true what they say about their sticks!!
The 6'2" Quad Fin Seared Ahi is a great all-around board. It's for shortboarders who are bigger or those who want to transition from a longboard/ funboard. The Seared Ahi has a great feel, and is extremely versatile. We even have a customer who used it to tow into triple overhead surf in the Mentawais! If you can only take one board, this one is it.
The Seared Ahi also comes in a thinner (2 7/8") epoxy version.
Tail: swallow
Bottom: Flat
Type of Fins: 9fish fins
Rails, Specifics: this is a cool retro sufboard-i love it-very relaxed board
Year Made: 2005
Year Bought: 2005
My Opinion About: very versatile board, good in small and big surf!!
also good for riding behind a boat.

Board 5
Shape: Kneeboard
Fins: 3- Thrusther
Shaper: david parkes
Size x Width x Thickness: 5' 10"' x 23 1/2"
Condition: Well Used
Make and Technology: TRI-FIN ROUNDED PINTAIL
5' 10"' x 23 1/2"
Our most popular tri-fin. Suits waves up to 6' in a varity of conditions. Can be surfed in bigger waves by using bigger fin combinations.
Tail: rounded pin
Bottom: Flat
Type of Fins: fcs
Rails, Specifics: performance oriented sharp rails
Year Made: 2003
My Opinion About: it´s a cool board-i love it although i had my worst surfing accident with it-i was riding hollow ohd surf and the board did not hold in the wave-the shape is really more for small fast surf-if it gets steep and fast, its hard to handle (david probably can)-anyway since that time i skipped on fcs fins and i ride proteck fins (http://www.surfcohawaii.com/) these fins are really high quality and for me there is no performance difference compared to major brandnames - less cuts - more fun!
Year Bought: 2003
Session Memories: ---cotillo wipeout---see my gallery---cojones gets bitten---
